Ok, so I just moved to AZ. Got my tank, Got my sump, now comes the build. I figured I would start from the beginning. Bought my used tank from local guy. Its a 5ft x 2ft x 2ft acrylic. Was a little rough on the eye to start with but did the Novus 3 Step acrylic scratch remover...shes back to perfection. I had a 5ft x 2ft x 17tall glass 106gallon shallow back East so I was able to keep my canopy as its the same footprint. Now about this footprint, I MUST say that the 5ft x 2ft footprint is just awesome...ive always loved this footprint and i had always wanted my last tank to be just a bit taller....well i got it...and i ABSOLUTELY love it. Decided to go ahead and take doors off and restain the stand and canopy so that they match. So the canopy is the same one i had back East. Its fitted with 8x T5. Bulbs all ati, 2x Actinic, 3x Blue Plus, 2x Coral Plus, 1x Purple Plus

This is her as she sits in the dining room, waiting to be plumbed and then a once over with the novus system one more time...then get that sand, rock and water cycling. Also my oceanic sump...i will be baffling this for a drain section with filter socks and to possibly do a algae turf scrubber havent decided if i want the turf scrubber in the sump yet or not. Since i will be having an external above tank refugium that drains directly into the display....i may run my scrubber off of that drain and allow for more live food to make it into the tank.

the skimmer that i will be using is the Reef Octopus xs-200 with a upgraded pump to the bubble blaster.
mag 18 return pump will also return to above tank refugium and any reactors/scrubbers/anything needing water to it.
havent decided on powerheads yet, maybe jebao or maybe tunze
